One of our all-time favorites is giant connect 4! The object of the game is simple: be the first player to get four of your colored pieces in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. This game is actually a solvable game and if you learn the techniques you can almost guarantee to win every game.

To set up the game, simply lay out the giant connect 4 board on the ground and put all of the pieces nearby. Then, take turns dropping your colored pieces into the slots at the top of the board, trying to get four in a row.

If your piece lands on top of another piece, that piece gets knocked off of the board and you get another turn. The game is won when one player finally gets four pieces in a row and there are no more moves left. This is seriously fun outdoor games.
